Bullpup Straight-Pull Bolt Action
Silverback VKS 採 Bullpup 無托式配置與 Straight-Pull 直拉式栓動機構。原廠表示此 Airsoft 版本的設計靈感來自 VKS／VSSK／Vykhlop，但因 Airsoft 使用需求進行相應調整，並非一比一複製。

VKS 採用與 Silverback SRS 共用的核心機械系統，包括：

Silent Piston Head with Airbrake
原廠配置 Silent Piston Head with Airbrake，出廠安裝最長款 Airbrake。
Airbrake 可依內管長度、BB 重量與所需性能進行調整，也可作為微調槍口能量的方式之一。

TDC Hop-Up 系統
VKS Hop-Up 採 SRS Form Factor，並結合 TAC-41 平台所使用的 TDC Top-Down 調整概念。
Hop-Up Chamber 的直徑與長度維持 SRS 規格，但改採上方施壓方式進行調整。

原廠隨附三種 Hop-Up Nub：
- Low Nub：+0 µm，原廠預裝
- Medium Nub：+250 µm
- High Nub：+500 µm

較高的 Nub 可增加 Hop-Up 效果；若遇到供彈阻力或卡彈，原廠建議可改用較低 Nub 改善可靠度。

63 發雙排彈匣
VKS 採 63 BBs Capacity Double-Stack Magazine。
彈匣內部機構大部分可在不拆螺絲的情況下取出，方便日常清潔與維護；完整拆解內部彈匣殼則需要螺絲工具。

免工具快速維護
VKS 可透過拆除兩支固定 Pin，大幅分解主要機構，不需使用工具即可快速取出完整 Bolt Assembly，方便進行：
- 清潔
- 潤滑
- 更換彈簧
- Airbrake 調整
- 內部維護

可調式 Piston Sear
VKS 採用 Open Sear 設計的可調式 Piston Sear。
細微調整可降低扳機拉力，但原廠提醒，過度調整可能影響安全性與可靠度。

可切換 Dust Cover 模式
VKS 拋殼口護蓋提供兩種配置：
- Dynamic：操作 Bolt 時護蓋會開啟，模擬較真實的運作方式
- Fixed：護蓋保持關閉，可減少內部機構暴露於灰塵、泥沙、雨水與惡劣環境

左右手操作轉換
VKS 可由右手操作轉換成左手操作。
左手配置需另購專用 Left-Hand Bolt Handle：

Picatinny 配置
VKS 配備長型 CNC Picatinny Rail。
原廠未配置機械瞄具，因此需使用 Picatinny Mount 瞄準鏡。

另隨槍提供兩條 Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon 側邊 Picatinny Rail，可依需求安裝配件或拆除。

SRS 外管相容配置
VKS Outer Barrel Mounting System 與 SRS 系列設計接近。
若搭配 FAST Hop-Up Chamber，可安裝 SRS Outer Barrel。

使用 FAST Hop-Up 時，VKS 另有專用 Cover 可替代外部 Hop-Up 調整輪，以維持較符合 VKS 外型的配置。

Bullpup Straight-Pull Bolt Action
The Silverback VKS is a bullpup straight-pull bolt-action airsoft rifle. Its design takes inspiration from the VKS/VSSK/Vykhlop while incorporating changes required for airsoft use rather than being a strict one-to-one replica.

Proven SRS Mechanical Architecture
The VKS shares key mechanical components with the Silverback SRS platform:

Silent Piston Head with Airbrake
The VKS is equipped with a silent piston head with airbrake, with the longest airbrake installed from the factory.
Airbrake selection can be adjusted according to inner barrel length, BB weight and desired performance characteristics.

TDC Hop-Up System
The VKS hop-up system uses the SRS form factor with the TDC adjustment philosophy introduced on the TAC-41 platform.

The rifle is supplied with three hop-up nubs:
- Low Nub: +0 µm, factory installed
- Medium Nub: +250 µm
- High Nub: +500 µm

63-Round Double-Stack Magazine
The VKS uses a 63-BB-capacity magazine with a maintenance-friendly internal architecture.

Tool-Less Quick Maintenance
Removing two pins allows much of the rifle to be disassembled without tools and permits quick removal of the complete bolt assembly for cleaning, lubrication, spring replacement, airbrake adjustment and internal maintenance.

Adjustable Piston Sear
The VKS uses an adjustable open-sear piston system. Fine adjustment can reduce trigger pull weight, although excessive adjustment may affect safety and reliability.

Configurable Ejection Port Cover
The ejection port cover can be configured in:
- Dynamic mode
- Fixed mode

Left-Hand Conversion
The VKS can be converted from right-hand to left-hand operation using the dedicated SBA-BTH-80 left-hand bolt handle, sold separately.

Picatinny Configuration
The rifle features a long CNC Picatinny rail and no iron sights.
Two removable fiberglass-reinforced Nylon side Picatinny rails are supplied.

SRS-Compatible Outer Barrel Options
SRS outer barrels can be installed on the VKS when using a FAST hop-up chamber.
